It’s almost time that the summer is hitting it’s peak and don’t we all want to strip down our clothes and roam around with minimal clothes. But let’s face the reality, we can’t really do that, can we?

There are a couple of concerns that I always have when it comes to roaming around in sleeveless t-shirt and shorts all the time, which I’m sure you guys face too.
1. Having that summer body which we planned to achieve post new year and clearly failed!
2. The killing rays of the sun. (Literally, with all the UV rays thing happening)
3. The humidity and sweat that irritates the f out of your skin (especially in Bombay).
4. The pollution and dust. (Hello Mumbai Metro)

Now what does one to do to avoid all that drama and still dress up light and easy?

Have you tried layering your summer outfits yet?
It’s always a good idea to layer your outfits with something light and breezy like a pullover or a shirt or a jacket. They can make your basic summer outfits slay!

Layer with what you ask?

‘Linen’ /ˈlɪnɪn/ is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen is laborious to manufacture, but the fiber is very absorbent and garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather.

I’ve been working on creating looks with Celio and I have to say that their Linen collection is quite on point! I’ve already done a look with all linen before (Summer Vibes Ft. Celio*) and it’s one of my favourite looks yet!
What’s amazing is that they are so on point with their linen collection that they have everything you can think of! Linen shirts, pants, scarfs and also linen bomber jackets!

I was so waiting for this to hit the stores when I saw it the preview held before. So I had to style it once it actually arrived as part of their Summer Spring Collection!

Wearing a basic slim fit denim and an embroidered + printed t-shirt, which is quite an everyday-everywhere look. What gives it a dash of style is the linen bomber jacket that I’ve paired with it.
What’s best with the bomber is that being linen, it’s quite perfect for the weather. It’s nice and light and breezy!

This one is quite an all day look. It could be a Sunday brunch or a decked up Saturday night, this look will kill it!

I’ve paired this look with these black Chelsea boots, for a sharper feel overall. For the look to be a little more casual, you can fold the jeans to ankle length and pair it up with casual slip one or tan brown loafers.

Try your hands on the linen collection at the Celio store nearby, let me know how you styled it!

Go on, enjoy the summers in style! ✨
